Safe judgment
Traffic laws, defensive driving, vehicle readiness, and the authority to stop when conditions are unsafe.

Drive with Wavz Ride
This is different from casual rideshare. Reliability, safe decision-making, passenger dignity, approved vehicles, clear communication, and documentation come first.
No applicant may accept trips, transport passengers, or represent themselves as an active Wavz Ride driver until review and final activation are complete.
The standard
Professional service means knowing the boundaries, communicating early, and never taking an unsafe shortcut.
Traffic laws, defensive driving, vehicle readiness, and the authority to stop when conditions are unsafe.
Patient, respectful communication and basic assistance without lifting, transfers, medication, or clinical care.
On-time readiness, assigned-trip follow-through, accurate status, and prompt escalation.
Only the activated driver and approved vehicle may be used for Wavz Ride assignments.
Driver onboarding
Submitting an application does not guarantee approval, trip assignments, or compensation.
Submit the initial application and eligibility information.
Confirm that scheduled service expectations and the independent-contractor model are a fit.
Complete identity, authorization, background, driving-record, and other required eligibility checks.
Provide license, insurance, registration, vehicle information, inspection materials, and acknowledgments.
Complete training, policy review, vehicle approval, agreement, and final activation.
Baseline expectations

Independent contractor relationship
Approved drivers operate as independent contractors, not employees. Drivers remain responsible for their vehicle, fuel, maintenance, expenses, registration, insurance, taxes, required documents, availability, and safe operation.
Drivers may work with other organizations as long as doing so does not interfere with accepted Wavz trips, safety obligations, or policy compliance.
Ongoing monitoring
Document status, insurance, driving-record alerts, vehicle condition, complaints, incidents, communication, trip completion, and overall performance may be reviewed.
Concerns may lead to coaching, retraining, restriction, suspension, or removal review.
Ready to begin?
The initial eligibility step takes most applicants only a few minutes. Review and final activation still apply.
